Resources

As the PHIA Project progresses, researchers and policymakers will have access to preliminary and final reports, data sets, conference presentations, webinars, and other resources that share the findings and knowledge generated from the country surveys.

Preliminary results from the first three PHIA surveys in Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Zambia were released on December 1, 2016, followed by SHIMS2 results from Eswatini in July 2017 and Uganda in September 2017. Lesotho and Tanzania released preliminary results on December 1, 2017. Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, and Namibia released results in summer 2018. Ethiopia released results around World AIDS Day 2018. The summary sheets below include detailed data from each country. Citations can be found at the bottom of this webpage.

In October 2018, Malawi published its Final Report, which presents results for primary and secondary objectives disaggregated by socio-demographic and clinical characteristics as well as sub-national areas. First Reports from Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe were published in late 2017.
