The Namibia Population-based HIV Impact Assessment (NAMPHIA) begin fieldwork in June 2017 and concluded in November 2017.

Survey teams visited nearly 11,000 households, interviewed participants, and provided HIV counseling and testing.

ICAP at Columbia University has received $25 million in the first year of a $125 million, five-year award from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to conduct national, population-based HIV impact assessments (PHIAs) in 20 countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
