The Kenya Population-based HIV Impact Assessment (KENPHIA) was conducted between May 2018 and February 2019 to measure the status of Kenya’s national HIV response.

The KENPHIA survey provided confidential HIV counseling and testing to participants, with return of results.

The survey team visited over 18,362 households and interviewed nearly 28,000 adults (15-64 years) and 7,000 children (0-14 years) to collect this information.
