Cameroon

The first Cameroon Population-based HIV Impact Assessment (CAMPHIA) was conducted from June 2017 though January 2018. Survey teams visited over 11,000 households to interview participants and provide HIV counseling and testing.

In 2024, a second CAMPHIA survey was launched to assess the country’s progress towards HIV epidemic control. During fieldwork, conducted from September 2024 through January 2025, survey teams visited close to 12,000 households and interviewed over 27,000 participants.
