Zambia

The Zambia Population-Based HIV Impact Assessment (ZAMPHIA) began fieldwork in March 2016 and concluded in August 2016.

Survey teams visited nearly 11,000 randomly selected households and provided HIV counseling and testing.

Details on the findings can be found below. Results of ZAMPHIA 2021, led by the MOH and the Zambia Statistics Agency with technical assistance from CDC, ICF, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, can be found here.
