The Ethiopia Population-Based HIV Impact Assessment (EPHIA) began fieldwork in October 2017, concluded in April 2018, and announced preliminary results in December 2018. In Ethiopia, survey teams visited approximately 10,500 households, interviewed approximately 20,000 participants, and provided HIV counseling and testing.
